About Gate of Heaven
A family where every person matters, every voice is valued, and no one has to walk alone.
A Family Built on His Presence
We believe that every life has a story, every heart carries a journey, and every person deserves a place where they can encounter the love of God. Our story is rooted in a simple but powerful conviction:
Jesus still saves, Jesus still heals, Jesus still restores, and the presence of God still changes lives.
We are a people led by the Holy Spirit and anchored in the Word of God. We believe the Bible is not simply a book we read on Sundays, but the living foundation by which we learn to know God, understand His heart, and walk in His purpose. Through the Word, we are challenged, corrected, encouraged, strengthened, and continually transformed into the people God has called us to become.
At the centre of everything we believe is Jesus Christ — His life, His death, His resurrection, and the finished work of the cross. We believe in the power of His blood: the blood that speaks forgiveness over our past, redemption over our lives, freedom over what once held us captive, and a new beginning for everyone who puts their trust in Him.
He loved us enough to give Himself for us.
Because of that love, we believe no one is too broken, too far gone, too young, too old, too ordinary, or too lost to be reached by the grace of God. What looks like an ending can become a beginning. What has been wounded can be restored. What has been lost can be found again.
More Than a Place to Worship
We are a family. That means you do not have to have everything figured out before you belong here. You do not have to arrive with perfect faith, a perfect past, or a perfect life. You can come with questions. You can come while still growing. You can come carrying things you have never told anyone.
You matter. Your story matters. Your presence matters.
We believe church should be a place where people encounter God and discover they are not walking this journey alone — where generations worship together, believers grow together, and the hurting find encouragement. We do not believe people are defined by their mistakes, their circumstances, or their past.
We believe they can be defined by what God says about them.
Rooted in the Word. Led by the Spirit.
Our desire is not simply to gather people into a room. We want to raise people who know God. We believe sound teaching produces strong believers, and strong believers become a blessing to their families, communities, workplaces, and generations.
We do not want faith that is only knowledge, nor experiences without the foundation of Scripture. We desire a life where the truth of God's Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit work together — producing believers who are grounded in truth, sensitive to God's presence, and courageous enough to live out their faith.
Prayer is at the heart of that journey. We pray because we believe God hears. We pray because we believe He cares. We pray not only for ourselves, but for families, communities, nations, leaders, the broken, the lost, and generations yet to come.
A People of Love
Above everything we do, we want to be known for love. Not simply love in words, but love that can be seen — the love that welcomes someone who feels forgotten, sits beside someone in their hardest season, forgives, serves without seeking recognition, and tells the truth with grace.
People should be able to encounter the character of Jesus through the way we treat one another.
Our faith is not meant to remain inside the walls of a church building. It should follow us home, into our workplaces, into our relationships, and into every place God sends us.
Healing, Restoration and New Beginnings
We believe God cares about the whole person — the heart that has been wounded, the mind that has been overwhelmed, the family that is struggling, the believer who has grown weary. We believe in healing because we believe in the Healer.
But healing is not always about receiving something instantly. Sometimes healing is a journey — learning to trust God again, forgiveness, restoration, growth, or finding the courage to begin again.
You do not have to walk it alone.
Becoming a People Who Carry His Presence
Our vision reaches beyond what happens during a service. We want to see believers equipped to live their faith boldly and practically — families strengthened, young people raised with purpose, leaders developed with character.
Some are called to preach. Some to teach. Some to lead. Some to worship. Some serve quietly behind the scenes. Some encourage. Some give. Some pray. Some build. Some create. Different gifts, different stories, different journeys.
One family. One Lord. One faith. One Spirit.
And so our story continues — not because we believe we have arrived, but because we are still becoming. Still learning. Still growing. Still praying. Still worshipping. Still reaching. Still believing. Still trusting God for what He is yet to do.
We invite you to become part of that story. Whether you are discovering Jesus for the first time, returning to faith, searching for a place to belong, or looking for a family with whom you can grow deeper in Christ — there is a place for you here.
Come with your questions. Come with your testimony. Come with your hopes. Come with your burdens. Come ready to grow.
It is a family learning to live in the love of God, grounded in His Word, led by His Spirit, covered by the finished work of Christ, and committed to carrying His presence into the world.
Our Vision
To raise a people who know God, walk in His presence, and carry His love wherever they go — a family where lives are transformed, purpose is awakened, and the light of Christ reaches every generation.
Our Mission
To share the love of Christ, lead people into the truth of God's Word, create space for healing and restoration, and build a Spirit-led family equipped to serve, grow, and transform lives wherever God sends us.
